The Focus

At Life-Skill Learning Pre-School, we believe in small class sizes to encourage more teacher to student interaction. We want to prepare students to learn skills that will be the most helpful for entering kindergarten.

Class Size of 8 students and Under. Compared to the average class size in public school districts like West Ada being 19 students to one teacher.

Following the “Whole Child” Philosophy which focuses on growing the social, emotional, language, cognitive, and Physical Skills. Students will learn listening skills, communication skills, and problem solving skills while working on their social emotional development.

Students will be taught: letters, numbers, name writing, social skills, emotions, and life skills (i.e. Tying shoes, zipping jackets, putting papers in a folder, cleaning up after themselves.) It is important for kids to be confident in these life skills and social interactions to ease them into going to kindergarten and allow for future success.
