Daily Schedule
Research has shown that young students do best when they work shorter amounts of time on specific activities. Realistically, we can expect an independent activity to hold engagement for 6-10 minutes when looking at 4-5 year old students. This increases with direct teacher support to around 15 minutes. This is an integral part of the daily lesson planning.
This is an example of what a typical day would look like in our classroom.
